Serving the North for Over 20 Years
The Lac La Ronge Regional Waste Management Corporation (LLRRWMC), formed in 2004, is a partnership among the Town of La Ronge, Northern Village of Air Ronge, Lac La Ronge Indian Band, and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Government Relations on behalf of Northern Saskatchewan Administration District.
It manages the La Ronge landfill, operational since 1963, and oversees the La Ronge Recycle Depot. In 2022, it expanded to include communities like Brabant Lake and Ramsey Bay, Grandmothers Bay in 2024, and expects Southend and Stanley Mission to join in 2025.
Our Facilities
Landfill
Our landfill is located approximately south of Air Ronge, off of Highway 2. The newly built landfill serves not only the regional area, but also a large portion of the north.
Recycling Depot
The LLRRWMC Recycling Depot provides the community with the means to recycle their paper products, cardboard, appliances, and more. Learn more about what items we can recycle.
Share Shack
The share shack is a new addition to our services that aims at keeping useable items out of the landfill. Located at the entrance of the landfill, the share shack is open for all to take needed items.
